Overdose Awareness Day Rememberance Ceremony
August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. Nearly everyone knows someone who knows someone who has overdosed. As the epidemic spreads and the rate of overdose continues to overwhelm families near and far, we need a safe place to unite as a community.
We invite you to join us Thursday, August 31st at the Myriad Gardens; East Lower Lake (side closest to East Sheridan Ave.) to celebrate the lives that were cut short by addiction and overdose with a flower release ceremony in their memory.
